I’ve been introduced to a wonderful healthy restaurant in Petaling Jaya.
“My Elephant” is a nice an cozy place to dine with your loved ones.
Try to be the first, because it can get crowded.
Nikom, the cook who prepared the delicious meals originates from Thailand’s northern most city – Chiang Rai because that’s the life blood of Thai food. His menu looks very ‘authentically Thai’, it demanded us a very long time to determine things to order.
For Thai curry (aside from the Eco-friendly-green and curry-colored-red), you could attempt their Curry Fruit (for example lychee/Rambutan) or possibly the duck curry that has this particular added twist of fresh fruits sweet taste, exhilarating yet hot and spicy.

Their green curry is delicious! I could eat just rice and that!

This is thai curry with a choice of fish or chicken. It left me in tears (both spicy and delicious). Good to know they don’t simply just chunk in curry powder.

Thai (papaya?) salad decorated with prawns and everything tasty

Simple menu with no pictures. A great idea because they can economically change their menu. Plus it’s strange but I didn’t feel an urge to see what their food looks like before ordering. Maybe it’s their excellent descriptions of each items. Such as my drink! The Thirst Quencher….

It’s more than just water. The black seeds I suppose is more for decoration… because when you suck with the straw, you see the seeds swirl round and round until it goes into the straw and into your mouth. It’s almost like controlling the whole universe!

Do you see the letter “E”? My bet is it’s for “Elephant”. The christmas lights around it failed. Nevertheless the food’s quality is most important and that is superb.

I want to thank the person who has intro me this place. It has been a great time catching up with you and look forward to our next gathering :D
