YA Camp 2011 Special Dinner. The committee got the guys to serve! Check out how creatively they juggle plates and dishes in the name of efficiency.
While the guys serve the ladies, the ladies would later serve the men drinks. Many came dressed for the occasion, though casual, yet smart.
At the end of the dinner, Elder Koon Tatt shared on Work Wise Word.
My sermon notes :
Work is worship.
God, family, work. Importance of priority, in that order
Do not despise small beginnings. Then the mistakes that u make will not be fatal.
Learn to save. It creates a habit.
Work is work. Discipline is doing that work over long periods of time. Diligence is doing that work over long periods of time well.
Be contented with what you have. Have the capacity of contentment.
You will never be contented until you know and you know that in God you have everything!
Have visions and goals for life that are eternal.
If you don’t have goals, you will help others to achieve their goals.
Build good character traits. Humility integrity compassion loyalty responsibility. Prov 22:1.
Develop harmony & unity in home , workplace church.
Always go back to the source. Jesus Christ.
I will always live on less than what I earn.
I will never compromise my God given values for any financial rewards.
I will always perform my best.
While I’m here with sermon notes, Pastor Chandran spoke about When Old Fashion is the Way To Go.
Stewardship is about being contented.
Live within your means. That includes being responsible for the company’s money. Example : if someone wants to buy you lunch, choose something you would pay for.
2 Corinthians 5:10 We will one day have to give an account to God.
Every work that we do, it’s important. God takes them into account.
Talent, time, treasure belongs to God.
How to say “no”. “I don’t tell you what you should drink, you don’t tell me what I should drink”. – take your stand! -
