Is church where your heart is?

Pastor Daniel said that as long he has breath and energy, he will serve the Lord. Sounds so much like the Joshua of old.

Dup dup, dup dup… the sound of your heart, is it beating for God?

Pastor Daniel tells a story of a pastor who entered a hospital for visitation when the Spirit of the Lord told him to go to a particular room. In there he found a woman placing her ear on the body of man near the heart. Promptly the pastor asks her is that her son in which she replied “no, my son died in the car accident but he donated his heart and this man got it. Now all that’s left of my beloved son is found in this man, and when I heart his heart beat, I hear my son”.

God sent his only Son to die on the cross. Dup dup, dup dup… Will God find His Son’s heart beating in you?

O Thou Who camest from above,
The pure celestial fire to impart,
Kindle a flame of sacred love
Upon the mean altar of my heart.

There let it for Thy glory burn
With inextinguishable blaze,
