Day 3 in China. Getting used to the cold. Feeling almost at home with the thermostat and wonderful wonderful hot shower until breakfast came…

While heading down the elevator, I notice they don’t use the confusing signs of “G”, “LG” and “UG” in Malaysia. Straight forward, 2, 1, -1, -2
In the ecstasy of wanting to snap this picture, I had ride up and down the floors just to get the 1 and -1 light on. Within 10 seconds there were guards surrounding the exit to the 1 floor!!!!
“What are you snapping?!” screamed the guarded looking at me with suspicious eyes. Thank GOD I know my mandrin and kindly apologize that I was just fascinated with the buttons in the elevator.
“Which room are you?!” with a lower yet serious tone… and in reply I gave my room number… They might as well have my bags scanned for explosives and what’s not, replacing them back to the precise position they found it.
Neverthless, it was quite a scare that their security system is so efficient.

Next, we sat these (trishor??) rickshaws to an old place, now a tourist spot, where poor people use to stay. We’re talking about just one room, shared by a whole family of at least 4! Shared toilet, shared well, shared chess board and games.

Sweet potatoes! Really nice and cheap. And to eat it in the cold, delicious! It’s like mashed potatoes wrapped in skin :D

The man was kind enough to redo how he weighs to price the potatoes.

“TeeHee” Maelodee happily glees away.

Entering the National Museum. Caricature!

Modern lightings!

Miniature!

Miniature carrying miniatures!

Miniatures gossiping!

Miniatures bumming!

Miniatures parading!

Miniatures just having a fun time standing around…

I just feel like throwing a bowling ball in…

Or hold a sniper BB gun. grrrr…..

OKOK, the end of this post. That leaning cylinder is another part of the museum. Too bad have to pay to go in and we ain’t much time left either.
Those are rickshaws bro. =D
