The food has been delicious!
And the price? cheap!
The lobster you see above is about RM40 only.
To cook a lobster, one way is to boil live lobsters in water or steam. A good rule of thumb in boiling to simmer the lobster for seven minutes for the first pound of its weight, then for every extra pound an additional three minutes each.
Most of it’s meat are in the tail and the two front pinchers followed by smaller amount of meat in it’s legs and torso area. Freezing the lobster may toughen the meat.
A common misconception is that a lobster screams when boiled; actually the whistling sound is steam escaping the shell.
The tables were set so we can feast on scrumptious meals while mosquitoes feast on us.
My first order was the lobster mean on Patti bread. Delicious friend rice and fresh green leaves. Menu name “Lobster (seasonal)”
Steak with rice, interesting concept. I guess I’m more used to steak with fries.
Pork meat and something…. Satkuru, yours?
Toasted bread and banana. I forgot who ordered this, but this is definitely part of the dinner.
Chicken Tinola. Of all 11 people there, no one likes this dish.
Except me.
It’s chicken with soup stuffed with bitter gourd, bitter herbs, bitter vege.
Daniel ordered this, ate all the chicken and I got the rest. How nice of him.
The funny thing was, the next day, we had to have our lunch at the same place. So I ordered a random item, Chicken Tinola.
Good thing I liked it a lot. LOL
I’ll not forget this name anytime soon.
The food was all prepared as ordered, 7:30pm. We are the late ones. No one to blame for cold food except our Malaysian timing.
Steak up close. makes you hungry eh?
If you want to calculate, 100 pesos is RM7
So me lobster (seasonal) 500 pesos = RM35 only! Yummy!
Third order. Ice cream wrapped in crepe! Haven’t tasted vanilla ice cream like this before!
Well, there you have it. Delicious foods, beautiful prices, simple decorations and now I’m hungry.
